Ingredients

1tsp turmeric

1/2 cup washing up liquid (I use Milton)

1 1/2 cups plain flour

2tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 tsp tea tree oil (hopefully they won’t want to eat it 🤷‍♀️)

(Optional) cosmetic preservatives- follow manufacturer instructions

Play dough

I make this play dough for sensory play for my little one, then spend the whole time taking it out of his mouth, he loves it!

Method

  1. Whisk together the turmeric and soap
  2. Add the flour and mix to combine
  3. Add the oils (and preservatives if using) and kneed for 5-10 minutes (ideally in a stand mixer) until smooth
