Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce

I love a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce so this is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s great as a marinade or a dip plus its vegetarian so you can even use it on your cauliflower wings or jackfruit (pictured above). Warm it up as much as you want with chilli flakes or keep it mild for the whole family

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Cook the onions slowly over a medium heat until Translucent
  2. Add garlic and cook for another minute or so. Then add the tomato past3 and cook so all the onion and garlic are coated
  3. Next, add the sugar and honey And heat until the sugar has dissolved
  4. Add all your other ingredients and give it a mix
  5. Bring your sauce up to the boil then simmer for 20 minutes
  6. Taste your sauce and add more chilli flakes, salt and pepper as desired
